The Z28 is a 1:12 scale model. The kit was very nicely moulded and everything fit very well with little or no modifications to any of the parts.

The carbon fibre has now been applied to the hood, front spoiler and rear spoiler.

Foil has been added around the windows to give it a much more realistic look of chrome.

The interior has been detailed.

The dash has been detailed.

The major parts of the engine bay have been detailed.

Nearly complete on the bench.

Here is the car outside after it has been totally polished and ready to go.

This thing was a blast to build. I have been working on it slowly for about 6 months.

I have never done a detailed build like this before. I am pleased with my first project. My son bought this kit for me for Christmas in 2015. I can’t believe it took me over a year to get to it. Life happens.

I will now be moving on to three more builds that I have in mind. The next ones will be 1:25 scale models of a 62 Chevy Impala SS 409 Convertible, 64 Chevy Impala SS Convertible, and a 1970 “Boss 302”.

Hope you enjoyed the pics.
